The TechGems program is the heart of our educational initiative, designed to transform young women from digital consumers into creative innovators. This practical learning track features 24 high-quality video tutorials and downloadable instructions, guiding students through "quick tech" projects and home-based STEM and STEAM experiments.
Rooted in the research findings of the project, the curriculum provides a comprehensive introduction to essential digital tools and programming languages, including Scratch, Java, p5.js, HTML & CSS, and Python. The entire journey is hosted on our digital platform, where integrated self-assessment questionnaires and surveys allow students to track their progress and reflect on their learning.
The program offers a rewarding certification pathway:
- Empowerment Milestone: Girls who complete at least 50% of the course receive an official certificate of participation.
- Creator Milestone: Those who complete the full series receive their certificate plus the exclusive opportunity to showcase their innovative projects in the GEMS WebApp.
